School Year End Communication
End of the School Year Communication 2025-2026
We are near the end of the 2025-2026 school year, that has been full of learning and growth. As we get ready for the summer break, please find below a few important notes that we would like to share with Tiffany Hills’ families.
Report Cards and the Last Day of School
Report Cards will be sent home on Tuesday, June 23rd. The last day of school for students is Thursday, June 25th.
Class Placements for September 2026
The staff of Tiffany Hills have worked together and used a thoughtful process centered on student well-being and success to determine class placements. Multiple factors have been considered including relationships to determine class placements, as such there will be no changes once, they have been announced.
Class placements for September 2026 will be available for you to access through the Parent Portal starting Monday August 31st. You will need your child’s Ontario Education Number (OEN) which can be found on the report card to access the information.
Sometimes in the Fall, based on registration, there is a need to reorganize classes. If this applies to Tiffany Hills, families will be notified immediately. If there are changes because of reorganization, we will minimize the number of disruptions to our classes and students. We appreciate your understanding.
First Day of School
The first day of school is Tuesday, September 8th for students in Kindergarten and Grades 1 to 8 classes.
School Council
The first School Council meeting for 2026-2027 school year will take place at the school on Tuesday, September 22nd at 6:30pm. If you would like to join the Tiffany Hills’ School Council or would like to nominate a community member, please complete the Nomination Form due on Friday September 18th, 2026 at noon.
Meet the Staff
We understand the importance of fostering strong partnerships between home and school and have scheduled meet the staff for Thursday, September 24th from 5:00 to 6:30pm. More details will be communicated in the new school year.
Lost and Found
Please continue to remind your child to check the lost and found for any missing items, all remaining items will be donated to a charity at the end of June.

Under Ontario law, riders must be 16 years of age or older and must wear a helmet at all times. E-bikes are governed under the Highway Traffic Act and must meet specific requirements such as having pedals and meeting speed and power limits. Students under 16 years of age cannot legally operate an e-bike on public roads or pathways.

Under Ontario’s e-scooter pilot program, riders must be at least 16 years old and riders under 18 must wear a helmet. Municipalities determine where e-scooters are permitted, and in Hamilton their use is restricted by local by laws. Students under 16 years of age cannot legally operate an e-scooter.
Hamilton Police Service enforces these requirements. Students underage may be subject to fines or tickets, confiscation in certain circumstances, and parental notification.
Reminder: All students at Tiffany Hills are younger than 16, as such for their safety and others, they should not operate E-Bikes and E-Scooters and cannot bring them to school.
